Golden Oak Lending has been awarded the 2018 Top Workplaces honor by the Post-Dispatch. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through an anonymous third-party survey measuring several aspects of workplace culture.
“We believe that when your employees are happy at their jobs, they naturally deliver exceptional customer service,” said James Hawkins, president of Golden Oak Lending. “So we make sure every agent has what they need and is excited to make the customer experience truly personal and enjoyable.”
“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage, the research partner who administered the survey. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”
Golden Oak Lending has been a leader in the St. Louis mortgage scene for over 18 years, with 24 employees in their St. Louis headquarters. They also have branches in Kansas City, Pittsburgh, Denver, Portland, Indianapolis, Nashville and Seattle.
“Becoming a Top Workplace isn’t something organizations can buy,” Claffey said. “It’s an achievement organizations have worked for and a distinction that gives them a competitive advantage. It’s a big deal.”
